From the hills of Mombercelli in the heart of Monferrato, De Marco Winery brings together family values, regional heritage, and a deep respect for the land in every bottle.

Nestled among the vineyards of Castino, 283 meters above sea level on the south-east hillsides of Mombercelli in southern Monferrato, De Marco Winery is proudly connected to one of Piedmont’s most treasured wine landscapes.
Located in the Asti province of Italy’s Piedmont region, this special place lies between the Po River and the Ligurian Apennines and forms part of a UNESCO World Heritage wine landscape. It is a land shaped by generations of hard work, tradition, and love for winemaking.
At De Marco Winery, wine is more than a product — it is a reflection of family, place, and heritage. Inspired by the richness of the Monferrato terroir, the winery creates wines that honour the character of the region while sharing its story with every bottle.

Winemaking in Piedmont has deep and lasting roots. Vine pollen discovered in the area dates back to the 5th century BC, when Piedmont was a place of contact and trade between the Etruscans and the Celts.
During the Roman Empire, Pliny the Elder described this region as one of the most favourable areas for growing vines in ancient Italy. Over the centuries, the knowledge, care, and craftsmanship of winegrowing and winemaking have continued to define this land.
Today, that extraordinary heritage remains part of the identity of Monferrato and continues to inspire De Marco Winery.
